Pilot Season

I'm not referring to the exciting art of flying an airplane. No, I'm talking about that time of year when the Agents in Hollywood pick up the phone and try to convince casting directors to give their actor clients an opportunity to audition for a role on a new Television Pilot.

Sometimes it takes a little push to get them in the door.

I keep myself motivated with the "belt sander to the head" technique.

"Why can't a vampire be short!""

After all the smoke clears, another happy Television Season is ready to air. Gotta love it!
Stay tuned...

Of course a vampire can be short! Tom Cruise played Lestat, after all!

Hey, I'm available for any role. No wait, I still have two months before I'm eligible to retire from my job. And I don't have any acting experience. Or an agent.

I'm screwed.

I like the second set of shows a in the season better than the year's first set of shows in the season.

When did they start doing that anyway?

A couple of years ago I guess - and it was just kind of sneaked in on us. . .

Yes. The mid-season replacements..
They make a few backup series just in case the new ones crash and burn...
