Several More Actors Board Broadcast Pilots
Rebecca Wisocky has been cast in the ABC pilot Devious Maids, from Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry. Based on the Mexican format, the soap follows four maids with ambition and dreams of their own while they work for the rich and famous in Beverly Hills. Leading the quartet is Marisol (Ana Ortiz), a college-educated woman posing as a domestic to investigate a murder her son has been convicted of. She worms her way into the home of Adrian and Evelyn Powell (Wisocky), who is described as an unhappily married, self-absorbed monster, where the murder was committed. Wisocky, repped by Connor Ankrum and Associates and Main Title, is coming off a recurring role on American Horror Story.
